1. в одно слово сказать, подумать и т.п. coll (in refer, to words said by or thoughts occurring to two or more people at the same time) (to say, think etc sth.) simultaneously:

- [in refer, to speaking] in one voice;

- as one man;

- [in refer, to thinking](we (you and I etc) are) thinking the exact same thing;

- [as indep. remark] my words (thoughts) exactly;

- (that's) just what I said (was saying, thought, was thinking);

- you (he etc ) took the words (right) out of my mouth.

2. в одно слово говорить, утверждать sub stand (to say or repeat) the same thing (usu. incessantly):

- (tell s.o.) the same thing again and again (over and over);

- (keep on saying) the same (old) thing;

- (give s.o.) the same old story.
